Install the P1 IQV hood in 5 Steps:

1. Unboxing

2. Prepare Installation Location

3. Assemble Mount(Mount Brackets and Hood)

4. Connect Ducting and Power

5. Test the Hood

1. Unbox and Check All Components

Before beginning the installation, carefully unbox the CleaDeep P1 IQV Range Hood and ensure that all necessary components are included. Inside the package, you will find the kitchen hood, the hanging plate, a 150 mm outlet duct, the air vent, the user manual, and additional mounting accessories. Take a moment to read through the installation instructions to familiarize yourself with the process.

At this stage, it's also important to gather the tools you'll need. These typically include a drill, screwdriver, level, measuring tape, pencil, and protective gloves. Having all tools ready will help ensure a smooth and efficient installation.

2. Prepare the Installation Area

Proper preparation is key to a safe and secure range hood installation. Start by measuring the height between your cooktop and the bottom of the range hood. This distance should comply with the minimum and maximum height guidelines provided in the user manual to ensure optimal suction performance and safety.

Mark the appropriate mounting height on the wall, especially the position for the hanging plate. Make sure there is a pre-drilled duct opening with a diameter of 160 mm that aligns with the exhaust outlet. Refer to the installation manual, website guide, or CleaDeep’s installation video for detailed height and spacing requirements.

3. Assemble and Mount the Range Hood

After marking the correct mounting height, drill holes in the wall according to the positions required for the hanging plate. Once the holes are ready, secure the hanging plate to the wall using screws as provided. And then, attach the air outlet base to the range hood body according to the manual’s instructions. Carefully lift the hood and hang it onto the mounted plate. Make sure it is level and securely fixed.

Next, install the smoke screen and connect the oil cup. Both components play a crucial role in smoke and grease management, so ensure they are properly fitted before moving forward.

4. Connect the Ductwork and Power Supply

Connect the 150 mm exhaust duct to the air outlet. To prevent air leakage, wrap aluminum foil tape around the joints and press firmly to ensure a tight seal. This step is crucial for maintaining strong airflow and minimizing backdraft.

Once the duct is sealed, plug in the power cord or connect the unit to your kitchen’s power source. Always follow electric.

5. Test Your New Range Hood

With the hood securely mounted and the duct and power connected, it's time to test the CleaDeep P1 IQV Range Hood. Turn on the unit and check each function, including the suction power, lighting, PM2.5 air quality sensor, and gesture control features. Make sure the air is being properly vented and that there are no vibrations or unusual noises.

A successful test ensures that your range hood is fully operational and ready to keep your kitchen air fresh and clean.
