Simplifying the Journey to Your Ideal Kitchen.

What Is a Range Hood?
A range hood is a ventilation appliance installed above your cooktop or stove to remove smoke, steam, odors, heat, and airborne grease generated during cooking. It improves air quality and keeps your kitchen clean and comfortable.
Why Your Kitchen Needs a Range Hood?
Whether you're stir-frying or simmering, cooking releases particles and fumes. A good range hood eliminates these contaminants at the source, protecting your health, kitchen surfaces, and indoor air. With CleaDeep’s advanced technology, you get not only performance but also smart features tailored for modern cooking.

Helpful Resources

BEFORE ORDERING, YOU SHOULD KNOW

1. Which Type of Range Hood Is Right for You?

CleaDeep offers ducted range hoods in three sleek installation styles to suit any kitchen:

  • Wall-Mounted: Mounted directly above the cooktop. Bold and highly visible - perfect for open wall layouts.
  • Under-Cabinet: Tucks beneath upper cabinets. Discreet, space-saving, and ideal for ceiling-ducted kitchens.
  • Insert (Liner): Built into custom cabinetry for a flush, integrated finish. Seamlessly blends into any design.

2. Ducted vs. Ductless: What’s the Difference?

CleaDeep hoods are ducted, meaning they vent air outdoors. This provides stronger smoke removal, better odor control, and overall superior performance.

Ducted (vented): Preferred for most kitchens. Delivers cleaner air, especially with high-heat cooking.

Ductless (recirculating): Only used when external venting is not possible. Not currently offered by CleaDeep.

3. How to Choose the Right Size

Your hood should match or slightly exceed your cooktop width:

  • For a 30" cooktop, choose a 30–36" hood

  • For a 36" cooktop, go with a 36–42" hood

Use powerful models (13 m/s airflow, 900 Pa static pressure) for:

  • Wok burners

  • Indoor grills

  • Gas ranges with high BTUs

CleaDeep hoods deliver 13 m/s airflow and 900 Pa static pressure—ideal for stir-frying, grilling, and everyday high-heat cooking.

4. Does It Fit Your Kitchen Layout

Your kitchen structure determines how and where the hood can be installed:

  • Wall-mounted hoods require vertical wall space and a clear ducting path.

  • Under-cabinet hoods need space for duct routing through or above cabinetry.

  • Ceiling-ducted setups require at least 200 mm (7.87 inches) of ceiling cavity and 150 mm (5.91 inches) of top clearance above the hood.

Keep duct length under 3 meters and avoid more than two 90-degree bends.

5. Cabinet Fit and Space Requirements

Before installation, check these key dimensions:

  • Minimum cabinet bottom opening: 430 mm width × at least 330 mm depth

  • Recommended cabinet depth for easier access: 450 mm

  • Minimum internal cabinet width: 425 mm

  • Back panel opening: 430 mm width × 460 mm height

  • Top duct clearance: at least 150 mm

Avoid shallow, curved, or weakly structured cabinets.

6. Match Your Kitchen’s Style

CleaDeep IQV P1 range hood features a minimalist aesthetic with brushed stainless steel and concealed touch controls. Their clean lines and flush-mount designs work well with modern, transitional, or industrial kitchen styles. It blends in beautifully while standing out in performance.

7. Align with Your Cooking Habits

Your cooking style should guide your ventilation choice:

  • Frequent high-heat cooking requires higher airflow and stronger suction.

  • For light simmering or occasional use, lower-powered models may suffice.

  • For heavy frying or indoor grilling, choose models with PM2.5 monitoring and odor control features.

CleaDeep adapts to real-world cooking with speed, intelligence, and clean-air precision.

8. Noise Levels and Daily Comfort

Noise matters in open kitchens and family environments.

CleaDeep’s IQV airflow system keeps sound levels under 72 dB(A), even at high speeds. The result is smooth, powerful extraction without disruptive noise—perfect for daily life.

9. Installation Planning

Whether you choose DIY or professional service, plan ahead for the best result:

  • Confirm wall strength and cabinet cutouts.

  • Ensure ceiling space and electrical access.

  • Requires 120V grounded outlet (NEMA 5-15P plug).

  • Use rigid ducting with no more than two bends.

  • Avoid flexible hoses and long duct runs.

  • Installation accessories are included in the box.

Professional installation is available:

  • Basic Installation – $199 (new setup)

  • Full Installation – $299 (includes removal of existing hood)

10. Maintenance and Cleaning

CleaDeep’s filter-free design simplifies upkeep:

  • No grease filters to replace or scrub.

  • Just wipe down the internal grease tray and tempered glass baffle.

  • Delay shutdown function clears lingering smoke after cooking.

The result is less mess, longer performance, and minimal effort.
